Christian College Parents is an organization that Bonnie McGrane founded and funded herself for the first two years. When it became necessary to find other ways of supporting her ministry, she decided to sell products that benefited other ministries also.
The products we carry not only support our ministry, but also fair trade organizations that offer disadvantaged people in third world countries the opportunity to work decent hours, in good conditions and for a fair wage. In this way they can provide for their families, something that gives them not only the necessities of life, but also self-worth. |

| What is Christian College Parents?
Christian College Parents helps Christian parents help their high school and college students find the right college, apply to college, get financial aid and deal with the issues that college students face today. Bonnie helped her own children with the college selection/application/financial aid process, as well as dealing with college issues during a particularly stressful period in their lives.
Right after her son Chris started University of Houston and her daughter Kat entered her sophomore year in high school, her husband Hugh was diagnosed with ALS, (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease), which is a fatal disease.
After Hugh’s passing, Bonnie thought about what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. She knew that she wanted to do something that would help others. A college degree is essential in today’s world, but it can also be very expensive. Bonnie decided to help other Christian parents help their children get a college degree without putting themselves or their children in huge debt. She also wanted to help other Christian parents support their college students while they were dealing with the issues that college students face today.
In addition to her own experience, she spent two years researching all the relevant topics, and continues to do research. Bonnie also found experts in the different aspects of getting into and attending college to give Christian College Parents the benefit of their collective wisdom and experience.
Although Christian College Parents has a Christian point of view, it is Bonnie’s hope that it will be a blessing to all parents of future and current college students.
